Lecrae has announced that he will go on the Church Clothes Tour in memory of the mixtape series that lasted for almost ten years.
The 25-date tour, which begins in Orlando, Florida, on March 17, was announced by the Grammy Award winner on Monday, January 16, through Instagram.
He will make additional stops in significant cities in the South, Midwest, and East Coast after the initial one, including Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, New York, and Philadelphia, before wrapping up in New Attleboro, Massachusetts.
“We need you there,” Lecrae captioned the tour announcement. “We need you to bring someone who needs to encounter Jesus in an authentic way.”
Following the FS1 commentator’s altercation with Ja Morant’s father at the Lakers vs. Grizzlies game on Friday, the founder of Reach Records jokingly tried to boost ticket sales by putting his voice over a video clip of LeBron James reiterating his support for Shannon Sharpe (January 20).
The rapper said, “Yeah, I mean, the greatest thing is, to get some Lecrae tickets.” “Visit lecrae.com/tour, I said. Because it’s the last Church Clothes Tour, if Shannon goes, I go. Actually, that is what it is. You know, my dude. That’s all!
Doe, a singer-songwriter, and Elevation Rhythm, a youth and young adult worship group from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, will also accompany Lecrae on his tour.
