Latrell James has officially released his new single “Shots Fired,” accompanied by a music video now available through his official channels. The Boston artist had been previewing the track with short clips and teasers across social media, building anticipation before announcing its release this week.
In a post shared online, Latrell James reflected on his creative direction and personal growth during the making of the single, writing:
“Been having a lot of fun experimenting with music. Trusting yourself is probably the most important thing I’ve learned thus far!”
The artist also credited the team behind the visual and production, thanking collaborators who contributed to the project. He acknowledged Breanna Lynn for creative direction, and extended appreciation to Myles Caba for helping bring the video to life.
“Shots Fired” was produced by Latrell James and Austin Marc. The track was engineered at SpareMonkey Studios, adding to the polished sound listeners have come to expect from the independent artist.
