The rapper and filmmaker took to Instagram to express his gratitude to those who contributed to the project, acknowledging the collaborative effort behind the film.

“Dorchester Forever is a story about brotherhood and the hard work of artists from the area,” King Philip wrote. “It also highlights some of my personal inspirations and process while working on the project. I want to shed light on the success of many of these artists and hopefully, this film can be an inspiration.”

The documentary features appearances from Latrell James, BlackRickRubin, Tedd Boyd, Tori Tori Music, LongLiveLilah, Sir Clark D, Bedlam Showoff, Leedz Edu, James Hagler Jr., Jace, MakeItOutTheBando, and more. It was directed by Scholar Vision Films, with executive production by BlackRickRubin and narration by King Philip himself.
