Kid Cudi Promises Travis Scott Collabs On 'insano' Despite Scrapping Joint Album

Despite the two artists having already scrapped their joint album last December, Kid Cudi has guaranteed that more Travis Scott collaborations are on the way.

The Scotts was the working title of the album Cudder and the Cactus Jack leader initially collaborated on; they even released the album’s lead track in 2020. However, Cudder stated he had to abandon the project regrettably during a morning Q&A session with fans in 2022.

The fan inquired, “Is The Scotts album still in the works?,” to which Cudi responded, “Naw, am not doin dat. The instant is over.

However, Cudder said that he and Trav are working hard on new songs and that fans should anticipate some wild collaborations to drop in the coming months during a recent performance at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash.

The rapper from Man On The Moon told the crowd, “We got some new tracks on this new album, ‘Insano,’ coming out later on in a couple months. “You know I feel like this is why I’m doing these shows right now, I gotta be out here repping for my guy and this shit is for Trav.”

Then, Cudi performed his duet with La Flame, 2020, which became his first number-one smash single and debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart during its first week.

Cudi earlier stated in March that he will release some new music this month, and he also stated during an Instagram Live session that his upcoming project—which may be his final as Kid Cudi—would probably be the “album of the year.”
