Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Breaks Viewership Record.

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show is now the most-watched in history, drawing 133.5 million viewers, Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL announced Tuesday (Feb. 11). His performance surpassed the game’s audience, which averaged 126 million viewers, according to Fox Sports.

Lamar also became the first solo rapper to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, surpassing Michael Jackson’s 1993 record of 133.4 million viewers. His performance had a higher viewership than last year’s headliner Usher, who drew 123.4 million viewers.

Lamar’s setlist included tracks from his 2024 album GNX, such as “Squabble Up,” “Peekaboo,” “Luther” featuring SZA, and “TV Off.” He also performed “Not Like Us.” Special guests included SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams, and Mustard.

Following the Super Bowl, Lamar and SZA are set to begin their Grand National Tour in April, with additional U.K. and European dates scheduled for July.
