Kendrick Lamar’s singles “Luther” and “Not Like Us” have officially concluded their long-standing Billboard Hot 100 runs. After 13 consecutive weeks at No. 1, “Luther” has now dropped to No. 5, overtaken by Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae’s “What I Want.”
Meanwhile, “Not Like Us” has exited the Hot 100 entirely. The track made history last week by setting the record for the longest-charting rap song with 52 consecutive weeks.
At the 2025 American Music Awards, Lamar earned a win for Favorite Hip Hop Song with “Not Like Us” but lost in five other categories. Billie Eilish took Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, while Eminem won both Favorite Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album.
Lamar and SZA were also nominated for Collaboration of the Year, but the award went to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga for “Die With A Smile,” which also won Favorite Music Video.
Despite the award losses, Lamar’s Grand National Tour continues to break records. A Seattle show with SZA recently grossed $14.8 million, drawing nearly 61,000 fans — setting a new record for the highest-grossing rap concert ever, surpassing his own $11.8 million Dallas performance.
