Kendrick Lamar Receives Spotify’s Most Streamed Rap Album Of 2022

The most streamed rap album on Spotify in 2022 was Kendrick Lamar’s comeback album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, one of several crowns the artist wears.

With 1.4 billion Spotify streams, the former TDE rapper’s most recent work reportedly took first place in the rap genre, according to Chart Data.

NAV’s Demons Protected by Angels were not far behind, Come Home The Kids Miss You by Jack Harlow, Her Loss by Drake and 21 Savage, and Future’s I NEVER LIKED YOU is said to have finished in the top five.

Since Kendrick’s Big Steppers album was the first rap album to surpass one billion streams back in August, it shouldn’t be too shocking to see him raise the championship trophy at the end of 2022.

K. Dot’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, his first solo album in five years, was released in May, putting an end to the Compton rapper’s album hiatus. With a first week sales total of 296,000 copies, he ended up ranking sixth in terms of first week earnings in 2022.
