Kendrick Lamar has been officially announced as the headliner for Australia’s Spilt Milk festival, which is returning in December 2025 after taking a break the previous year. The festival, known for touring multiple cities, will be held across several locations including Ballarat/Wadawurrung, Perth/Whadjuk, Canberra/Ngunnawal, and Gold Coast/Kombumerri. Alongside Lamar, the lineup includes other artists affiliated with Top Dawg Entertainment such as Doechii and ScHoolboy Q, who are both scheduled to perform. Additional acts include Dominic Fike, widely recognized for his role in the television series Euphoria; Nessa Barrett, who initially rose to fame through viral content; and d4vd, a newer artist who has seen significant growth in recent years. The festival will commence on December 6 and conclude on December 14.
Meanwhile, in the United States, Kendrick Lamar has been performing on the Grand National tour, which he is co-headlining with SZA. The opening night of the tour took place in Minneapolis and marked a new milestone in live rap performances. According to Touring Data, the concert generated over $9.1 million in gross revenue and drew more than 47,000 attendees. The average ticket price for the event was reported to be $192.70. With these figures, the Minneapolis concert now holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing rap concert on record, surpassing a previous benchmark set by Eminem during a 2019 performance in Melbourne, Australia.
In addition to setting a new record for revenue, the Minneapolis show was also the most attended concert to date for both Kendrick Lamar and SZA, not including music festivals. The tour continues to attract attention for both its commercial performance and the collaboration between the two artists, who have previously worked together under the same label.
