Kendrick Lamar and SZA continue their chart dominance as “Luther” holds the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the eighth straight week. The Grand National collaboration has been boosted by its recent music video, which paid tribute to Luther Vandross.

According to Billboard, “Luther” earned 63.1 million radio impressions (up 3%), 22.7 million streams (down 7%), and 2,000 sales (down 8%) in the U.S. for the week of April 4–10. Drake’s “NOKIA” moved up to No. 2, while BigXthaPlug debuted in the top five with “All The Way.”

“Luther” now ties the eight-week run of 24kGoldn and iann dior’s “Mood,” making it the second-longest run for a hip-hop track this decade. Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” still holds the record with 11 consecutive weeks at No. 1 in 2020.

Kendrick and SZA are set to kick off their Grand National Tour on April 18 in Minneapolis, with DJ Mustard joining as the opening act. The tour will continue through early August.
