Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour has officially become the highest grossing co-headlining tour in history. As the North American leg approaches its end, the duo has grossed over $256 million across 23 shows in the U.S. and Canada.
The tour has sold 1.1 million tickets so far, averaging $11.1 million per show with around 48,000 fans in attendance each night. The run marks a major milestone for both Top Dawg Entertainment artists.
During a recent show in Maryland, SZA expressed deep appreciation for Kendrick. “He put me onto the biggest moment of my life,” she told the crowd before hugging Lamar onstage.
SZA previously admitted she was unsure about joining the tour, citing anxiety and fears that audiences were only there for Kendrick. In an interview, she said she has since chosen to embrace the unknown and continue pushing forward in her career.
