Ken Carson returned with a new single, “yes,” released October 31, just in time for Halloween. The track sees the Opium rapper embracing his signature post-apocalyptic, distorted sound, arriving during his ongoing run on Playboi Carti’s Antagonist 2.0 world tour.
Produced by Clif Shyne, “yes” features Carson’s distortion-heavy energy layered over eerie melodies and emotionally charged lyrics. The single follows a tradition of Halloween releases: in 2022, he dropped the XTENDED deluxe of X on October 31, and in 2023, A Great Chaos arrived two weeks before Halloween. Fans had been circulating snippets of “yes” online for weeks before the official drop.
This marks Carson’s first solo release since More Chaos earlier in 2025, which earned him his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Since then, he has received four new RIAA Platinum certifications for tracks including “Fighting My,” “Overseas,” and “SS.”
Live audiences are already hearing “yes” on tour, where Carson’s high-energy performances often blur the line between concert and chaos. On the Antagonist 2.0 tour, he shares the stage with labelmates Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang, performing to sold-out venues across North America and Europe.
