Kehlani’s breakout hit “Folded” is getting a major upgrade. After months of fan requests and viral covers, the singer has announced a full remix pack for the chart-topping single, arriving Friday, October 24.
Originally released in June, “Folded” has become one of 2025’s biggest R&B successes, hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic chart and peaking at No. 18 on the Hot 100. The upcoming remix pack features a lineup of R&B legends — Toni Braxton, Brandy, JoJo, Mario, Ne-Yo, and Tank — each offering their own interpretation of the track.
Several artists have already teased their versions online. Braxton shared her cover on her 58th birthday, while Tank previewed a slowed-down rendition. Brandy’s version, shared during her The Boy Is Mine tour rehearsals, earned an emotional reaction from Kehlani, who called Brandy her “#1 inspiration” and said, “this is still who I study.”
Beyond the music, Kehlani has been using her success to give back — funding free laundry days for single mothers across the U.S. this summer. The “Folded” remix pack arrives this Friday across all streaming platforms.
