Kashi2x & Teathetruth Announce Joint Album ‘Beautiful Ugly II,’ Set for April 24.

Boston-based artists Kashi2x and Teathetruth are gearing up to release Beautiful Ugly II, a collaborative album scheduled to arrive April 24. The two artists announced the project via social media with a clear message: no gimmicks, no autotune—just raw hip-hop.

The upcoming release will feature 17 tracks, leaning heavily into lyrical delivery and sample-heavy production. “This album is for all my hip hop heads for sure,” Kashi2x wrote in the teaser post. “Nothing but bars from me and @teathetruth.kmf.”

The feature list pulls from a circle of collaborators tied to the regional underground rap circuit, including Suriel781, Paranomsun, Tyler Lovett, Mickey Spades, LSP Sito, and Phinelia.

The album artwork, designed by Nickolas GODLY, has also been previewed alongside the announcement. With the tracklist revealed, the rollout positions Beautiful Ugly II as a return to stripped-down, lyric-focused rap—what the artists describe as “getting back to the basics.”

The release will be available across all major streaming platforms beginning April 24.
