Kanye West & Wife Spend $20k Per Month On A Penthouse As The Mansion Roats Away

While spending $20,000 a month for a new penthouse, Kanye West and his new wife, Bianca Censori, continue to live in their former opulent property, which is still vacant and unoccupied.

The Wests announced on Wednesday (May 31) that the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment they are presently renting in West Hollywood is conveniently close to the new Yeezy headquarters on Melrose Avenue, as was previously reported by Radar Online.

The delighted pair had previously been staying in a $2,000 per night hotel room at Nobu Ryokan, which has a two-night minimum stay requirement.

They have finally located their own home, close to his new headquarters on Melrose, after spending months living at the Nobu Ryokan in Malibu, a source close to the pair told Radar. It’s a beautiful apartment with a really Ye inside. It’s a special location and an architect’s dream.

Unfortunately, the addition of the rental property means that Kanye West’s custom Malibu home, which he paid $57 million for in 2021, will continue to sit empty and deteriorate.

Yeezy Construction Inc., which Kanye created in August while he was still in Wyoming, was secretly liquidated in November, it was discovered on Tuesday (May 27).

The Sun stated that Yeezy halted construction and evicted workers from the property. An informant claims that the property with Japanese influences has now undergone a thorough gut makeover.

The modern residence was created by renowned architect Tadao Ando, the Japanese designer of the Carters’ new world-record mansion. Beyoncé and JAY-Z bought the opulent property last month for an astounding $200 million, making it the most expensive home sale in California history and the second-most expensive home sale in American history.

According to legend, West’s property was intended to be “part house, part sculpture.” But as of right now, all that’s left are the concrete shell and the rusted balconies, with the utility lines underneath the property along the shore abandoned.

Kanye’s commercial and financial difficulties seem to be getting worse at the moment. He just received a $2 million lawsuit from his former business partner, Gap Inc., for purported contract violations.

Radar Online claims that in October 2022, Art City Center filed a lawsuit against Gap for claimed alterations done to a downtown Los Angeles building by Ye, who was using the facility for his Yeezy apparel label while working for Gap. A lease between Gap and Art City Center started in April 2021 and lasted in March 2022.

According to court records, Gap stated that they would pay $104,666,67 in rent and $8,333 in parking each month. However, the contract stipulated that they couldn’t alter the area without first getting permission. There were supposedly “numerous, significant, unapproved modifications” done to the building, though.

Gap has so far denied any wrongdoing, but they think Kanye should pay the $2 million because it is claimed that he was the source of the losses.
