During a livestream, Cenat shared that he’s offering $15,000 to 20 people who submit 30-second to one-minute video treatment ideas before the May 24, 2025 deadline. He encouraged aspiring directors to participate by emailing their concepts.
Drake confirmed the project on Instagram by reposting Cenat’s clip and writing, “CALLING ALL VI$$$IONARIES” in the caption. The idea has been well received online, with fans praising the move as a way to support smaller directors and include fans in the creative process.
The video announcement comes as Drake continues work on a new solo album. In a recent livestream with Adin Ross, Drake confirmed the follow-up to $ome $exy $ongs 4 U is already underway, calling it “a slap.” Prior to that, he hinted at a new artistic direction in a cryptic Instagram caption, describing it as a “new chapter” and referencing unanswered messages and personal reflection.
