- “Mother in You” — a tribute to women and motherhood.
- “Petting Zoo” — despite its playful title, it carried a harder, more aggressive sound.
- “Everything Hallelujah” — gospel-leaning and described as potentially the best song on the album.
- “The Story of God” — an 8-minute spoken word piece exploring religious themes, praised as a bold creative risk.
Guest features add another layer to the project, with appearances from Tems, Lil B, Eddie Benjamin, and Hurricane Chris. Each collaboration adds diversity to Bieber’s already wide-ranging tracklist.
While Sound admitted a preference for Swag 1, he called Swag 2 “delightful” and acknowledged Bieber’s artistic growth. The podcast praised the album’s versatility, Bieber’s more grounded mindset, and his willingness to experiment, especially with the unconventional religious spoken word track.
