Just Blaze Uncovers Unreleased Music From Jay-Z, Ghostface Killah, Madlib & More

Rap fans have been mesmerized by Just Blaze’s discovery of a wealth of unreleased music, including previously unheard songs from JAY-Z, Ghostface Killah, Madlib, and others.

On Tuesday (January 17), the former Roc-A-Fella hitmaker posted a series of images to Instagram showing various CDs he had retrieved from his sizable storage facility during a clean-out.

Unreleased The Neptunes songs “Christies” and “Operator,” a Timbaland and Static Major Pro Tools session from 2002 with “three variations of hooks,” 9th Wonder rhythms, and a disc by Just Blaze and Ghostface Killah titled “Missing Audio Files” from 2006 were all included in the collection.

JAY-Z fans were in for a treat because Just’s collection also included a Hov and M.O.P. CD from 2002 called “Laze Copy” and a song by JAY-Z and Just Blaze called “Hello Young Lady” that was recorded in April 2001 at Baseline Studios in New York City, which was once the home of Roc-A-Fella Records.

The CD from 2007 with the names of JAY-Z, Madlib, Sleepy Brown, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, and Trey Songz, which Just Blaze called a “doozy,” may be the most alluring of the group.

“Back at storage, cleaning out.” “Found some heavy sessions today,” the producer wrote in his Instagram caption. “Last slide is a doozy. RIP @staticmajor_ and our brother Kamel. Cc @shwoodley1 @youngguru763.”
