Joe Budden Pitches Dating Show Concept for Top Streamers

On a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden floated an idea for a new show concept centered on popular streamers.

Budden described the premise as a dating show featuring the “top five to ten streamers” where participants would showcase their social skills and ability to connect outside of streaming. “I would like to see a show with the top five to ten streamers where they are trying to get laid,” Budden said, explaining that the format would allow their personalities to be on display without the barrier of chat interaction.

The idea came after Budden recalled footage of Ice Spice and Latto appearing unimpressed by streamer behavior at a recent gathering. He suggested that seeing streamers navigate real-life interactions in a competitive dating environment could be both entertaining and revealing.

The discussion expanded to include podcasters, with Budden noting that older generations might have an advantage due to more experience socializing offline. Co-hosts debated whether generational “riz”, or charisma, would translate into today’s dating culture, joking about how some married hosts might struggle to adapt.

Budden framed the concept as a low-overhead, high-potential format given the popularity of both dating shows and streaming culture. “It’s a great concept for a show,” he concluded, suggesting that the idea could extend beyond streamers to other content creators and podcasters.
