Jay-Z Performs At Pharrell's Star-Studded Louis Vuitton Fashion Show Debut

In support of the premiere of Pharrell’s first collection as creative director at Louis Vuitton, JAY-Z rocked the stage alongside his old pal.

At the conclusion of LV’s Paris fashion show on Tuesday (June 20), Hov appeared unexpectedly to attendees as the models exited in their last ensembles. Of course, he performed his hit song “N-ggas In Paris,” as well as the Pharrell/Neptunes collaboration “Give It to Me” and other songs.

The stage was set across the river in front of the Louis Vuitton corporate offices and the LVMH Mot Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Cheval Blanc hotel, where the show presented the LV Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 Collection.

Beyoncé and her husband were photographed together, and both Clipse members were present as they walked the runway to an unreleased song. LeBron James, Lewis Hamilton, Russell Westbrook, Rihanna, Jayden and Willow Smith, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, and Zendaya were also there.

Pharrell thought back on getting hired as the luxury brand’s Men’s Head Designer, one of his dream jobs, before the fashion show made its debut.

He told WWD, “I have to pinch myself every day since it’s an appointment and I was chosen. “Pietro saw something, and I’m touched by that. I honor that every day.”

The multi-hyphenate was aware of the criticism that he wasn’t qualified for the prestigious Louis Vuitton role, but he had a cunning rebuttal that cited his successful music career.

The Grammy-winning musician stated, “I didn’t go Central Saint Martins, but I also didn’t attend Juilliard either in music, and we see how that panned out. “I like it. That is an excellent observation. But Vivienne Westwood didn’t either, right? Tadao Ando learned on his own. He is the GOAT, after all. I simply want to be myself.

With Rihanna’s assistance, Pharrell first previewed the collection last week with a gigantic billboard outside a museum in Paris. Rihanna served as the muse, modeling an outfit that will be displayed in the presentation.

Given that her growing tummy is clearly visible, Rihanna is seen donning a black leather shirt that is just partially buttoned. She has a cappuccino in one hand and several monogrammed Louis Vuitton bags—almost the complete color wheel—on her arms.
