J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival To Return Under New Name After 2025.

J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival will not end entirely after 2025, but will continue under a different name, organizers confirmed this week.

The festival, which began in 2018 and has grown into a major event for the city, had been expected to conclude this year. However, Dreamville and Roc Nation promoter Sascha Stone Guttfreund announced on Thursday (April 3) that a multi-year deal has been reached to continue the event in Raleigh.

While the future festival’s new name has not been revealed, Guttfreund said it will keep the same energy and presence: “We’re going to be here for years to come… to continue to build on this incredible thing that we’ve done over the years.”

Raleigh City Manager Marchell Adams-David confirmed J. Cole will remain involved, though he may not perform. “He is a local resident… totally committed to this community and to this festival,” she said.

Ib Hamad, Cole’s longtime manager and partner, added that the new event will maintain its community feel. “We call it our family reunion,” he said, noting how fans travel from all 50 states to attend.

The festival will continue at Dorothea Dix Park for at least the next four years.

The final Dreamville Festival under its current name takes place this weekend, with performances by J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu, and 21 Savage. Other artists on the bill include GloRilla, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tems, Ludacris, Chief Keef, and several members of the Dreamville roster such as JID, Ari Lennox, Bas, EarthGang, and Lute.
