J. Cole Promises To Be More Consistent With His Blog While Balancing Family And Music.

J. Cole is juggling fatherhood, marriage, and music while also managing his recently launched blog.

In a new blog post this week, Cole admitted he hasn’t been as consistent with updates as he planned. “I knowwww mannnn. I’m off to a bad start with the consistency, but I’ma do better! Watch!!” he wrote. He explained that balancing music and family life has kept him busy but assured readers that he’s back to maintaining the blog. He also hinted at allowing others, including his longtime collaborators Ib and Scott, to contribute to keep things active.

Cole launched his blog, The Algorithm, on January 27, just before his 40th birthday. In his first post, he promised, “2025 will be a good one,” leading fans to speculate about the release of his long-awaited album, The Fall Off. He previously suggested the project might arrive before Dreamville Festival in April. At his 2014 Forest Hills Drive anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden in December, he told fans, “I’ll see y’all at Dreamville Festival. Hopefully, I’ll have something new to perform for y’all.”

However, in his second blog post, Cole clarified that he isn’t in album rollout mode. He explained that the blog is simply a space for him to share content he enjoys, saying, “Ib told me some people was thinking this blog meant an album was about to drop. Nahhh. Not exactly.”

Whenever The Fall Off arrives, it will follow 2021’s The Off-Season and is rumored to be Cole’s final album.
