J. Cole Performs With 21 Savage During A Surprise Birthday Bash In Atlanta.

This past weekend, J. Cole made a surprise cameo at 21 Savage’s Birthday Bash concert in Atlanta, where he gave a five-minute set of crowd favorites.

The Hot 107.9 concert featured “21 Savage and Friends” as its headliner on Saturday, June 17, prompting fans to speculate as to who else could appear. 21 hit the stage at State Farm Arena.

The thunderous response from the audience suggested that they were ecstatic when J. Cole took the stage and the I Am > I Was song “a lot” started playing. He said, “Just came to the A,” before rapping his stanza. Said, “Pulled up on my n-gga, 21 Savage.”

After J. Cole’s performance of their 2018 collaboration, Savage told the Atlanta crowd to “make some muthafuckin’ noise for him.” “Hold on, don’t let up. I need a few more things from you, brother.

The Dreamville boss then gave the crowd two more hits: “No Role Modelz,” a 2014 Forest Hills Drive anthem, and his appearance on Lil Durk’s “All My Life.” He was able to give the audience a whole J. Cole experience by performing one of his most well-known features, one of his songs that defined his career, and his most recent album.

GloRilla, NLE Choppa, and Finesse2tymes were among the other well-known performers listed on the invitation for the event dubbed a “Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop.” The night also featured performances by Superstar Pride, Moone Walker, Lola Brooke, Baby Drill, and Gloss Up.

After Michael Jordan sold his full ownership interest in the Charlotte Hornets, Cole is now formally a part-owner of the team. The North Carolina native, along with country artist Eric Church, is a member of The Buyer Group, which is run by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall, the Hornets said on Friday (June 16).

Following the enormous success of their joint album, Drake and 21 Savage have expanded their It’s All A Blur Tour with the addition of 12 extra dates. There are more shows on the enormous tour, which now has 54 dates, in locations including Toronto, Brooklyn, Inglewood, Memphis, Milwaukee, Glendale, and Denver. The tour is scheduled to launch in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 29.

The tour is in support of Drake and 21 Savage’s collaborative album Her Loss, which was released in November and featured appearances from Birdman, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, and other artists.

The album’s first week sales of almost 400,000 album-equivalent units, the highest in Hip Hop last year, helped the project launch at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
