J Brown Talks Love, Music, and Touring on RNB Philly Podcast.

In this episode of RNB Philly, Ashmac sits down with R&B artist J Brown to chat about his chart-topping hit, new album, early start in singing, experiences with love, and more.

Hailing from Detroit, J Brown considers Philadelphia his second home. He attended Mumford High School in Detroit and began singing as a child, inspired by his mother, who nearly signed with Motown.

J Brown has achieved success with songs like “I’ma Love You Right,” “Sex on My Money,” and “Give It to You.” He is currently focused on creating love songs and empowering women through his music. His track “If You Could See You” recently hit number one.

Describing himself as a hopeless romantic, J Brown admits he has never been in love. He is searching for a long-term relationship with someone who is understanding and eager to grow with him. He reminisces about his first performance at his father’s church and his first car, a Ford Explorer Sport. He also recalls the sweltering heat on his first day at Grambling State University.

J Brown aims to create timeless, universal music that resonates with audiences. He wants to be recognized for making great music and have his name known worldwide. Currently touring with Mara Ambrosius and Johnny Gill, he credits them with motivating him to continue producing hits and soulful tracks. J Brown dreams of collaborating with all the members of New Edition.
