J Balvin made a major return to his hometown of Medellin with a large-scale concert on November 29 at Estadio Atanasio Girardot. The show blended live performance with immersive experiences designed to give fans a deeper connection to the event.
The production featured a full 360-degree stage and an extensive lineup of special guests. Performers included Daddy Yankee, 50 Cent, Ryan Castro, Yandel, Tito El Bambino, Lennox, DJ Snake, Farruko, Chencho, Feid, Maluma, and others. Each appearance added to the overall presentation, shaping the concert into one of Balvin’s most collaborative moments in recent years.
Balvin’s return had a measurable impact on Medellin. The city saw an increase in tourism interest and flight searches leading up to the event. Local vendors were selected to participate in the early festivities, and local workers were responsible for the event setup. Many of the dancers featured in the show were Colombian, reinforcing the artist’s focus on community involvement. The Medellin Metro also participated with custom visuals and extended service hours to support concertgoers.
During the celebration, Balvin also introduced his new capsule collection, Beyond Flowers: Ciudad Primavera, created in partnership with Colombian leather brand Véle.
The artist is scheduled to bring a concert of similar scale to Bogotá on December 13 at Estadio El Campín.
