Instagram Introduces New Tool To Help Creators Organize Message Requests.

Instagram has introduced a new feature aimed at helping content creators and influencers manage their message requests. This update allows users to sort and filter requests messages from people they don’t follow based on factors like the sender’s follower count, verification status, or whether the sender is a brand or another creator.

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri shared that this feature could help busy creators find the most valuable messages amidst the large volume of requests. “Now when you go to the requests inbox, sometimes it can be really overwhelming,” Mosseri said in a post, acknowledging that creators had been asking for this tool. To access it, users can tap the “Sort & Filter” button at the top of their inbox.

Additionally, Instagram has launched a “Story Replies” folder, where users can view all responses to their stories in one place. Mosseri emphasized that Instagram will continue to enhance its messaging tools, with more features planned to support creators in managing their time.
