With reports from Variety suggesting that Queen Bey is currently in discussions to bring a concert film based on the Renaissance World Tour to AMC Theatres, while her mega-agency CAA has engaged in talks with major studios and streaming platforms, preparing for a bidding frenzy on various projects, including components from her highly successful 2023 live shows, segments from the long-anticipated visual album “Renaissance,” and a documentary-style account chronicling the creation of the album and the development of the tour.
This development coincides with Taylor Swift’s announcement of a concert film based on her Eras Tour scheduled for release in October, although neither Beyoncé nor AMC has officially commented on the matter as of now, though Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, recently expressed praise on Instagram for the role both Beyoncé and Swift have played in bolstering the national economy through their tours.
