The Kansas City rapper hooks up with RMR for a brand new tune and music video called “Fatha Fig Ya (Food For Thought)” just in time for Father’s Day, and it’s their first time working together.
In the hymn, Tech is heard imparting priceless knowledge through a skillful and energetic flow. He reassures listeners who may be having second thoughts about some of their choices, “Their fucking failures don’t apply to you/Your life experiences are tried-and-true.”
The 51-year-old also imparts some life lessons to the younger generation, urging them to exercise caution when using social media. He raps, “No social media flexing money phone,” criticizing some people’s haughty behavior that has in the past gotten them into trouble.
While repeating, “Listen now and tell your sons,” RMR takes the microphone for a seductive hook.
Tech N9ne thanked everyone involved, especially the fans featured in the video, for their dedication to the development of the visuals while detailing the lengths he and his crew went to in order to bring the song’s video to life.
