In Time For Father's Day, Tech N9ne Drops Gems On New Song "Fatha Fig Ya"

Due to his extensive experience in the industry, Tech N9ne has amassed a plethora of knowledge that he is now imparting on his new single.

The Kansas City rapper hooks up with RMR for a brand new tune and music video called “Fatha Fig Ya (Food For Thought)” just in time for Father’s Day, and it’s their first time working together.

In the hymn, Tech is heard imparting priceless knowledge through a skillful and energetic flow. He reassures listeners who may be having second thoughts about some of their choices, “Their fucking failures don’t apply to you/Your life experiences are tried-and-true.”

The 51-year-old also imparts some life lessons to the younger generation, urging them to exercise caution when using social media. He raps, “No social media flexing money phone,” criticizing some people’s haughty behavior that has in the past gotten them into trouble.

While repeating, “Listen now and tell your sons,” RMR takes the microphone for a seductive hook.

Tech N9ne thanked everyone involved, especially the fans featured in the video, for their dedication to the development of the visuals while detailing the lengths he and his crew went to in order to bring the song’s video to life.

In a press release, the Kansas City rapper said, “We shot this vid from 4pm till 2am and I’m so thankful for all the fans that stayed for the duration for the shots we needed and how full of light and life that RMR had throughout the whole process of this ‘Fatha Fig Ya’ production.” “L9ve and respect to all parties involved.”

“Fatha Fig Ya” was made available on Friday (June 16), paving the way for Tech’s eagerly anticipated BLISS, which is scheduled to be released on July 14.

Tech’s upcoming full-length album, BLISS, will be his first since 2021’s ASIN9NE, which had his most well-known song to date, “Face Off,” with Joey Cool, King Iso, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The Strange Music mogul’s album teaser was released just a few months after he revealed in March that he had given birth to a daughter, making it even more relevant.

“HAPPY DUE DATE, ALINA!” Tech posted a photo of his daughter’s birth certificate, which showed that she was born on March 3 and weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, on Instagram.

The Strange Music mogul’s album preview was just released, making it even more relevant given that he announced in March that he had given birth to a girl.

Alina: “HAPPY DUE DATE!” The birth certificate for Tech’s kid, which showed that she was born on March 3 and weighed eight pounds, five ounces, was posted on Instagram.
