In A Sweet Home Video, Kendrick Lamar's Children Watch Him Win A Grammy

The 2023 Grammy Awards were held over the weekend, and Kendrick Lamar took up three prizes. His kids watched from home.

The Compton rapper’s two young children, son Enoch and daughter Uzi, watched television as he won the Best Rap Album trophy on Sunday inside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (February 5).

Uzi’s reaction to her father praising his family in his award speech was recorded in a sweet video that K. Dot’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, shared on Instagram.

“Daddy! He’s talking about us!” she says in the clip. “He’s talking about us. He’s talking about his family… Uzi, Enoch and mommy.”

Alford captioned the footage by praising her partner’s continued success, writing: “Congrats on 3 more @kendricklamar. We [love] and appreciate you!”

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards nominated Kendrick Lamar for eight awards. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers went on to win Best Rap Album, and “The Heart Part 5” won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
