The McDonald’s Super Bowl advertisement starring Cardi B and Offset is officially here, and it demonstrates that food can bring people together.
In time for Valentine’s Day, the sentimental 60-second ad debuted on Sunday night (February 12) during the big game.
The first line of the advertisement is a woman saying that if she doesn’t know her boyfriend’s McDonald’s order, she doesn’t really know him. This statement allows several other couples to discuss their partners’ favorite meals.
“He likes a Quarter Pounder and a Hi-C. No onions, just cheese. He a simple man,” Cardi said of Offset’s favorite order before the topic of French fries came into play.
One of the other boyfriends spoke about getting “points” for sharing their fries, which prompted Offset to say: “If it’s mine, it’s hers. There ain’t no stealing.”

After the ad ran, Cardi B acknowledged her enthusiasm for it on Twitter by referencing an old clip in which she reworked the McDonald’s “I’m Lovin It” jingle in a sexually explicit manner.
