Ice Spice & Taylor Swift Fish For Planets In Vibrant ‘karma’ Fantasy Land Video

Check out the video for the remix of Taylor Swift’s song “Karma” below, where Ice Spice joins the singer for an extraordinary encounter.

The music video for the song, which is featured on Swift’s Midnight album’s deluxe edition, was released on Friday (May 26). It shows the two traveling through space while wearing sparkling costumes.

As of the time of publication, the music video has amassed 4.3 million views and is now trending at No. 4 in the music category on YouTube.

“‘Cause karma is my boyfriend/ Karma is a God/ Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend,” Swift sings in the chorus. “Karma’s a relaxing thought/Aren’t you envious that for you it’s not?”

Ice then swoops in with her Bronx flavor to make the track her own: “Karma is your chеck’s ’boutta bounce (Damn)/ Karma is a fire in your house (Grrah)/ And she ’boutta pop up unannounced (Like)/ And she never leavin’ you alone (Damn)/ Watch her put ya opps on a throne (Damn).”

Prior to the album’s release, Ice and Taylor announced the unusual collaboration on social media. The Swifites and the Spice Cabinet both went into a frenzy right away.

On the day the music video was released, Ice Spice tweeted a picture of herself wearing a beautiful black dress and images from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, appearing to be enjoying the moment.

A footage of Swift’s purported boyfriend, 1975 singer Matt Healy, referring to the rapper as “Inuit Spice Girl” during his appearance on comedian Adam Friedland’s show earlier this year has resurfaced, raising questions about the duet.

Healy went on to refer to Ice as a “fucking Eskimo” and a “chubby Chinese lady.”

In related news, Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, Lizzo, and a number of other big names have been asked to contribute to the soundtrack of the next Barbie movie by executive music producer Mark Ronson.

According to Rolling Stone, Barbie: The Album is anticipated to contain notable artists like Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Kali, Khalid, Pink Pantheress, Ryan Gosling, Tame Impala, and the Kid LAROI in addition to Nicki, Ice, and Lizzo.
