Ice Spice’s winning run and 2023 momentum have continued with the release of the music video for her most recent single, “Deli.”
The Bronx princess hosted a party at a bodega on Wednesday (July 26) for the new film, which features her twerking with friends and flaunting massive wads of cash. She just makes it rain on her pals who are shaking their asses on the counter instead of making any purchases.
Ice Spice raps, “She a baddie, she showin’ her panty/ She shake it like jelly/ Hunnid bands in Chanely/ But I’m still shakin’ ass in a deli,” in the song.
As the RIOT-produced song contends for a Top 50 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 next week, “Deli” will reportedly add to Ice Spice’s list of chart-topping achievements.
While spending a day in The Bronx with the rapper earlier this month, Apple Music, Ice Spice talked on the value of having a neighborhood bodega.
“Delis are really, really significant in New York. They must be significant elsewhere, I’m sure. It’s critical for a New Yorker to always have a deli nearby, she remarked. “I got water, cookies, chips, and a croissant to keep it balanced and healthy.”
