Hundred Round Kado is gearing up to drop his latest body of work, GodGotTheMixtape, set for release on June 1. The Boston artist previewed the project on social media with the full 20-track lineup, a bold cover art, and a caption that reads, “June 1st You’ll Start To See That There’s A Difference Between Presence And Impakt.”
Hosted by Manny ThaGod, GodGotTheMixtape draws on a wide range of voices from the underground and regional rap circuit, with appearances from Lazy Coca, Sidestreet Capo, Wave Capone, Ricky Gramz, Showly, Montega Mac, Ezzy Gwapo, Dondzy, Yahweh Almighty, and Daytime Action.
The collaborative weight of the project is matched by its production team. Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Dallas Rose and Neighborhood Nine.
GodGotTheMixtape marks Kado’s return following a stretch of relatively low output. Kado has yet to share further details about any visual rollouts, live performances, or distribution formats, but GodGotTheMixtape drops June 1 across platforms.
