With Musiq Soulchild, Hit-Boy is continuing his impressive run.
In response to an enthusiastic fan, the producer tweeted, “R&B Hit-Boy otw,” confirming the news.
The collaborative album, which will go by the name Victims & Villains, might come out as early as February, according to Musiq Soulchild on Bill Bellamy’s Top Billin’ show.
The record is currently in the “initial stages of mixing,” he revealed, despite the fact that they have only been working on it for a few months. He also referred to Hit-Boy as the “GOAT of our time.”
He also explained the significance of the title: “[It] is designed to address the topic of the challenges we all deal with in relationships, but I’m approaching it from a slightly different angle than I used to,” Musiq Soulchild said. “It’s more abstract, at the same time direct.” He continued, “A lot of people don’t realize which one they are; they think they’re one when they’re the other.”
