Gunna Released His New Album The Last Wun, featuring Offset, Wizkid, Asake, Burna Boy, & Nechie.

Gunna released his new solo album, The Last Wun, on Friday, August 8, marking his fourth consecutive year with a solo project. The 25-track album includes singles “Won’t Stop” and “Him All Along” and features collaborations with Offset, Wizkid, Asake, Burna Boy, and Nechie. Fans speculate the album title suggests it could be Gunna’s final project with YSL Records/300 Entertainment.

Gunna described the album as reflecting his current life experiences without a specific theme. The cover art, created by painter Devon DeJardin, shows Gunna in sculpture form and includes elements representing anger, peace, perseverance, and grinding.

At 32 years old, Gunna last reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his 2022 album DS4EVER. All his albums have reached the top three on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Rap Albums chart.

Freddie Gibbs has recently taken shots at Gunna on his album Alfredo 2, though it is unclear if Gunna will respond on The Last Wun.

The Last Wun is now available for streaming.
