This Saturday, June 21, Gunna will lead a free Youth Football & Empowerment Camp in Frisco, Texas, for 130 local youth. The event, hosted with Distinctly HIS Ministries at the Sports Academy Frisco branch, will include football drills, life skills workshops, giveaways, and exclusive gear.
NFL players Charles Omenihu of the Kansas City Chiefs and Laremy Tunsil of the Washington Commanders will join Gunna for a Q&A session and a gaming tournament with the participants.
“This camp is more than just drills and plays, it’s about showing up for yourself and your future,” Gunna said in a statement. “It builds a mindset that won’t stop, driving these kids to keep going beyond the game, every single day.”
Beyond music, Gunna has gained recognition for his community efforts. In 2022, he launched a free grocery store and clothing closet at his former school, and introduced a $500,000 guaranteed income program to support families in Fulton County.
