Gunna And Goodr Collaborate To Donate $100000 For The Holidays

On Sunday, Gunna will hold the fifth annual Great Giveaway event in College Park, Georgia (December 18).

Rapper 300 Entertainment teamed up with Goodr to give $1,000 in gift cards to 1,000 College Park households. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, representatives with Gunna will distribute the gift cards to pre-registered families at a nearby Walmart.

“Much respect to Gunna who, no matter what, still finds a way to contribute to the community that raised him,” Goodr’s founder and CEO Jasmine Crowe-Houston said in a press release. “We know that people will struggle unlike any other year this holiday season and it is our honor to maintain Gunna’s legacy of giving back.”

In the past, Gunna and Goodr collaborated to open a number of mobile food stores. Additionally, the two collaborated on events like back-to-school fairs and coat giveaways.

Days after Gunna accepted a plea agreement in the YSL RICO case, The Great Giveaway is scheduled to happen. The 29-year-old artist was released from custody on Wednesday after pleading guilty in Alford to conspiring to break the RICO Act. The Alford plea allowed him to maintain his innocence.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he said in a statement. “I have chosen to end my own RICO case with an Alford plea and end my personal ordeal by publicly acknowledging my association with YSL.”
