GloRilla Teases Full R&B Album: What Fans Can Expect Next

GloRilla revealed on Wednesday that she intends to release a fully R&B-focused album, sharing on X that she “will be doing [an] rnb album.” She didn’t clarify whether the project will follow her 2024 debut Glorious or arrive later in her catalog.

The Memphis rapper has already built a strong R&B presence through collaborations with Kehlani (“Xmas Time”), T-Pain (“I Luv Her”), and FLO (“In My Bag”). She also earned her first BET Award this year for “Rain Down On Me,” her gospel collaboration with Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, Kierra Sheard, and Chandler Moore.

Speaking with XXL, GloRilla said she has “a lot of good mursic” ready for her sophomore album, expected in 2026, but wants everything “perfected” before releasing it. She emphasized that she took this year off to reset and fully lock in.

GloRilla is also entering the 2026 Grammys with three major nominations: Best Rap Album for Glorious, Best Rap Song for “TGIF,” and another Best Rap Song nomination for “Sticky,” her collaboration with Tyler, the Creator, Sexyy Red, and Lil Wayne. The 68th Annual Grammy Awards takes place February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena.
