Posting on X (formerly Twitter) on November 10, the Memphis rapper declared, “Single & celibate until God send me my husband.” Her statement followed her Halloween prank, where she sported a fake baby bump and jokingly claimed to be expecting with actor Abraham “Da’Vinchi” Juste as the “father.” The joke became clear after fans noticed her baby bump missing in later appearances.
This isn’t GloRilla’s first attempt at celibacy; she kicked off 2024 with a 90-day celibacy journey but humorously admitted she struggled within days. “I’m on da 9th day & my vision blurry af!!!! Send help,” she joked.
GloRilla isn’t alone in her decision. Singer Omarion previously discussed his own celibacy experience, which he saw as a way to better understand himself. On the *Know Thyself* podcast, Omarion shared that his faith and desire for personal growth led him to take on celibacy as a challenge, saying it helped him focus on integrity and music.
Omarion explained that people questioned his decision, especially given his career success, but he felt it was crucial for personal control and growth.
