Future Keeps The Momentum Going In 2024 With His Upcoming Mixtape Pluto Release.

Did you think the drought was real? Future is making sure his fans stay satisfied in 2024. The Atlanta rapper is preparing to release his third project of the year.

On Wednesday (Sept. 11), Future revealed that Mixtape Pluto is set to drop on Sept. 20. He shared the news on social media with the caption, “F*** the publicity I got this out the mud MIXTAPE PLUTO 9-20-24.” The announcement also featured the cover art, which showcases the iconic Dungeon Family house bathed in vibrant pink lighting.

According to Apple Music, Mixtape Pluto will include 17 tracks, though the featured artists haven’t been disclosed yet. Fans can pre-save the project now.

Freebandz’s website is offering merch and vinyl bundles for pre-order, including CDs and vinyl with an alternate cover featuring lime-green lighting instead of pink. Bundles are priced at $40 and include a choice of purple/white or black/green shirts.

Later in his post, Future teased a song from the project called “Too Fast,” for which he’s already filmed a music video directed by Kid Art. The song includes the lines, “Bought the Patek I was moving too fast/ New G-Wagon I was moving too fast/ Got the condo I was moving too fast.”

Though most collaborations remain a mystery, Travis Scott has hinted at his involvement in Mixtape Pluto, recently previewing a snippet of a track that may be titled “South of France.”

On the production side, 808 Mafia’s Southside confirmed he and Wheezy contributed to the project. He posted, “It’s almost that time, presave link in bio, can’t wait for y’all to hear this masterpiece me and my brothers put together.”

Mixtape Pluto will be Future’s third release of 2024, following his two collaborative albums with Metro Boomin, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both of which topped the Billboard 200 earlier this year. The duo recently wrapped up their We Trust You Tour in Vancouver on Sept. 9.
