FreeVerse, the monthly open mic dedicated to uplifting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creatives through art, community, and storytelling, will return on Thursday, November 20th, at the Boston Civic Pavilion. The event follows its October 23rd gathering and will feature an evening of poetry, music, and creative expression.
This month’s lineup includes Solfull Poetry, a Detroit-based, Emmy-nominated poet known for his love-centered verses and stage presence, and Macky Ukiyo, a Boston artist and Creative Director recognized for blending underground hip-hop and pop within his work with the collective ETHEREAL VISIONS.
The event will offer free food, a live DJ, and an open mic for attendees. Participants interested in performing are encouraged to arrive by 6 PM to check in for the open mic.
FreeVerse takes place Thursday, November 20th, 2025, from 6–9 PM at Boston Civic Pavilion, 5 Congress St. Admission is free, with registration recommended.
