Freddie Gibbs Takes Stage as Frozone at Red Rocks Halloween Show

Freddie Gibbs brought Halloween to the stage in Colorado by performing as Frozone from The Incredibles during his Red Rocks Amphitheater show with Denzel Curry, The Alchemist, and Earl Sweatshirt. Wearing the animated character’s blue-and-white supersuit, Gibbs delivered songs from his Alfredo 2 album, including “Ensalada,” while fully leaning into the character fans often compare him to.

Footage shared online shows Gibbs enjoying the joke throughout the night. In a backstage clip filmed by a fan, he joked about the outfit, saying, “Fuck yo bitch in the supershit,” referencing Frozone’s suit with his usual humor and confidence.

The Frozone look wasn’t Gibbs’ only Halloween fit. He opened the night dressed as Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction, standing alongside The Alchemist, who appeared as Vincent Vega. Fans at the venue and online reacted to the double-costume night, with videos circulating showing the duo arriving in character before Gibbs switched into the superhero look for his set.

Beyond the performance, Gibbs recently discussed his pride in Alfredo 2, calling the project a “perfect” album during an interview with Pitchfork at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. While laughing, he explained that his favorite song from the album changes often, but pointed to “Ensalada” featuring Anderson .Paak as a current standout.

Reflecting on his long-running creative relationship with The Alchemist, Gibbs previously told Complex that their partnership grew naturally over time. He shared that he spent years casually hanging out at the producer’s studio before they ever recorded together, describing their chemistry as the product of time and comfort rather than planning.

Gibbs’ Halloween performance added another memorable moment to his ongoing Alfredo 2 run, pairing fan-favorite music with playful costume energy across one of the most recognizable venues in the country.
