The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week included a special two-song mashup performed by Freddie Gibbs and Anderson. Paak.
Gangsta Gibbs was dressed in a black blazer combo for the concert on Monday night (January 23), which was backed by The Roots. Before a shade of green and yellow lights reached the stage, he launched the act with a silky rendition of “Blackest in the Room.”
While Gibbs channeled the same energy for his part, Paak onto the stage to play his feature on “Feel No Pain” with a boisterous performance. On Freddie Gibbs’ most recent album, $oul $old $eparately, which was published in September 2022, both tracks are included.
With his appearance on The Tonight Show, Freddie Gibbs added another victory to his growing list of accomplishments. The official music video for “Rabbit Vision,” in which Big Sean and Jeezy also appear, was just released by him.
The ESGN rapper’s musical journey over the years is depicted in the film, which was directed by Gibbs, Harley Astoria, and Ben “Lambo” Lambert. The footage is grainy and VHS-style and shows him ripping down stages, recording in hotel rooms, and enjoying the fruits of his fame.
