Just hours after the formal announcement of RISE, Boston’s newly launched creative studio, one of its co-founders, Rob Kelley-Morgan, took to Instagram to reflect on the moment, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to bring the project to life.
Rob—CEO of PutInWork, a long-standing name in Massachusetts’ creative development and music branding spaces—joins partners J. Rose, Dallas Rose, and Jimmy Rose as co-owners of the RISE studio venture.
In a post shared across his social platforms, Rob wrote:
“RISE Studios is officially open! Thankful for my business partners J.Rose, Dallas Rose and Jimmy Rose for bringing me onboard… and my community as a whole for all their support over the last few months in seeing this vision through.”
The post included several short video clips capturing moments from the studio’s grand opening event, where artists, creatives, and community members gathered to experience the space firsthand.

The facility aims to bridge the gap between artistry and infrastructure—a common challenge for independent creatives navigating professional growth in the region.
“Being able to develop a space for high-level music, media, and creative incubation to happen… that’s what this was always about,” Rob wrote in his post.
He also encouraged creatives and industry professionals to reach out directly if they’re interested in walking through the space or learning more about the studio’s offerings.
“Follow @risestudiosboston for updates… and if you’re interested in having a personal walkthrough of the space and learning more about our mission and services, DM me and let’s set it up.”
Rob’s message highlights a recurring theme in the formation of RISE and his work: collaboration and collective power building . Much of the momentum behind the project appears to have come from collective energy—something the founders have emphasized since the project began development.“We got us, fr!” Kelley-Morgan wrote, underscoring the self-reliant and inclusive spirit behind the studio’s mission. With the doors now open, RISE Studios enters its next phase— programming, onboarding, and project execution.
