Fans were shocked when Lupe Fiasco revealed that more music from his band Child Rebel Soldier, which also includes Kanye West and Pharrell, exists.
The Chicago-born songwriter revealed the shocking news on Twitter on January 26 in response to a request from a fan to share unheard music from the band that he probably had “in a vault somewhere on an old Mac or iPod.”
In response, Lupe casually disclosed that Tyler, The Creator had heard music from Child Rebel Soldier that has never been released before.
The Food & Liquor MC posted a snapshot of a text conversation he had with Tyler, a well-known fan of Lupe, Kanye, and Pharrell, in which Tyler handed the former vocalist of Odd Future two tracks he had created for CRS, “Engine Light” and “Shrink.”
“Figured you’d might enjoy these… some rough demo sketches I did for CRS,” Lupe wrote to Tyler in the message.
A stunned Tyler replied: “BRO[.] WHAT THE FUCK[.] these r crazy” along with a face holding back tears emoji.
The news excited many people besides only Tyler. Fans frantically asking with Lupe to reveal the files inundated his mentions.
