EST Gee Talks Hiatus, New Album & LeBron vs. Jordan Debate on SuperstarTVOnline.

EST Gee sat down with SuperstarTVOnline for a candid conversation about his journey, the inspiration behind his latest project, and why he decided to take a break from music. The Louisville rapper also shared some wild tour moments, reflected on his collaborations with industry heavyweights, and even jumped into the timeless LeBron vs. Jordan debate.

After a dominant run in the rap game, EST Gee revealed that he took most of the previous year off, calling it a much-needed vacation. “I’d pop up here and there, but I really just needed to handle some personal things,” he shared. A major part of that break was dedicating time to his family, especially his 11-year-old daughter.

Now back in full force, EST Gee is gearing up for his next project, I’m Not Feeling ____, a title he left unfinished in the interview. While details remain under wraps, he confirmed that the album will feature collaborations with Travis Scott and Lil Baby. He recalled meeting Travis at a club before heading to the studio, where the Houston star jumped on his track. “It was just one of those organic moments,” he said.

In addition to Travis and Lil Baby, EST Gee has a history of working with some of hip-hop’s biggest names, including 42 Dugg, Jeezy, and Future. When asked about female artists, he gave props to GloRilla, Sexyy Red, and Latto, acknowledging their rise in the game.

Despite his lyrical prowess, EST Gee made a surprising statement: “I don’t like rapping in general.” He quickly clarified that he means he doesn’t just rap for the sake of it—his music is always deeply personal and intentional. His upcoming project, he says, will be even more direct than previous work, reflecting his life and experiences in an unfiltered way.

It wouldn’t be a proper sit-down without a sports debate. EST Gee, an Eagles fan, made it clear that when it comes to basketball, LeBron James is the greatest of all time. The hosts challenged him with Michael Jordan’s legacy, but EST Gee doubled down, citing LeBron’s longevity, dominance, and overall skill set.

With fame comes challenges, and EST Gee has had his fair share. He spoke on the difficulties of finding trustworthy people in the industry, especially after losing key team members to prison or violence. He also recalled a moment on tour when a misunderstanding in St. Louis nearly escalated after someone threw ice on stage.
