Ed Sheeran has revealed his next creative project, One Shot, a performance film set to debut on Netflix on November 21. The film follows the singer as he performs his greatest hits throughout New York City, filmed entirely in one continuous take.
According to Netflix, the project presents “a one-shot music experience” showing Sheeran traveling across the city in real time. Over the course of an afternoon, he performs in unexpected locations, from busy sidewalks and subway cars to quieter street corners, interacting with fans and passersby along the way. The film offers a close look at the energy of the city and Sheeran’s spontaneous connection with people through his music.
One Shot is directed by Emmy Award winner Philip Barantini, recognized for his work on Adolescence. The collaboration pairs Barantini’s real-time filmmaking approach with Sheeran’s live performance style to create a natural and unfiltered viewing experience.
Alongside the film, Sheeran continues an active schedule. He was recently named among the headliners for the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour and announced new North American dates for his Loop Tour, beginning next summer. Both projects follow the release of his new album Play and hint at more material on the way.
