E-Los Imagines His Verse on Leon Thomas’ Mutt in New IG Clip.

Leon Thomas’ sophomore album Mutt, released September 27, 2024 via EZMNY Records and Motown, has already begun carving out its place in the R&B landscape. With features from Masego, Wale, Ty Dolla $ign, and Baby Rose, the project leans into the complexities of identity and love, with Thomas anchoring the sonics in sleek instrumentation and soulful vocals.

But one of the most unexpected nods to Mutt came not from a critic or collaborator—but from Boston rapper, E-Los.

In a playful yet lyrical Instagram post, E-Los dropped a short verse with the headline, “If I had a verse on Mutt by Leon Thomas,” rapping:
“All bark but I bite down, if you like now
Hardest coming out the city tell them pipe down,
My tongue wadding your heart thrashes
All these skirts only thing put a young boy in action.”

The short video showed E-Los squatting between two dogs, creating an image that subtly mirrored the album’s title while offering a visual punchline. “The dogs were paid actors 🤣,” he joked in the caption.

E-Los didn’t stop there. A follow-up video saw him running behind a moving car, leash tied to the car, lip-syncing to Mutt by Leon THomas. Underneath the clip, he wrote candidly: “I almost lost myself trying to do this… was it worth it?”
