Due To Soaring Ticket Demand, Beyoncé Has Added New Dates To Her "Renaissance" Tour

Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, Beyoncé has decided to prolong her upcoming Renaissance World Tour.

Following a more than 800% increase in demand for tickets, Ticketmaster announced on Twitter on Thursday (February 2) that seven additional events have been added to the North American leg of the worldwide tour.

A number of the cities Bey was already slated to perform in are included in the extension, including Toronto (July 9), Chicago (July 23), East Rutherford (July 30), Washington, D.C. (August 6), Atlanta (August 12), Inglewood (September 3) and Houston (September 24).

But according to Ticketmaster, “demand is still anticipated to severely surpass supply.”

Fans who are interested in purchasing tickets for the new tour dates can register through Live Nation, where they will be given a chance to be added to a waiting list through a “lottery-style process.”

On February 1, Beyoncé made the Renaissance World Tour announcement to coincide with the beginning of Black History Month.
