The 2025 Dreamville Festival, headlined by Lil Wayne and the Hot Boys, is approaching, but festival-related activities will begin well before the weekend. Dreamville Fest Week will feature a series of free public events in downtown Raleigh, leading up to the festival’s final performances. The schedule includes a variety of activities, starting Wednesday with the Dreamville Fest Pop-Up Shop and continuing with Dreamville Public Access, a series of panels covering different aspects of music and entertainment. Other events include health and wellness sessions, game nights, and car shows.
For those interested in the music industry, Dreamville University at Shaw University will offer courses on Thursday that break down the basics of entering the business. Comedy fans can attend “Punchanella Comedy Clash,” hosted by Doctur Dot of Earthgang. The Dreamville Public Access panels will focus on music production topics such as sampling and engineering, featuring speakers like T-Minus, Boi-1da, Easy Moe Bee, and Large Professor.
The festival itself will feature one of its most star-studded lineups, with performances from Erykah Badu, GloRilla, Ludacris, PartyNextDoor, Tems, and more. In addition to the music, the event will also host its largest selection of food vendors yet, with over 75 local businesses participating. The full schedule for Dreamville Fest Week is now available, providing fans with various ways to engage with the festival experience beyond the main performances.
