Drake Seemingly Confirms He Bought 2pac's $1m Crown Ring

Drake seems to be the proud owner of 2Pac’s renowned crown ring, which recently fetched over $1 million at auction.

The priceless piece of jewelry became the most expensive Hip Hop artifact ever when it brought in $1.016 million at a Sotheby’s auction honoring Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary on Tuesday (July 25) in New York City.

The ring, which is comprised of gold, rubies, and diamonds, is inscribed with the words “Pac & Dada 1996,” alluding to the late rapper’s engagement to Kidada Jones.

The Her Loss singer shared a close-up image of himself wearing the imperial relic on his Instagram Stories early on Friday morning (July 28).

With the hashtag “UTOPIA OUT NOW MELTDOWN @travisscott,” he promoted his contribution to Travis Scott’s brand-new album, which was released at 1:00 a.m.

In the song, Drizzy even boasts about his wealth, saying, “I pull out a million and stare at the shit.”

Drake has already been open about his adoration for 2Pac. The Toronto resident shelled out a comparably outrageous sum in 2020 for a pair of coordinating bespoke chains honoring the All Eyez On Me musician.

Each chain had a pendant of Pac Man on it, one with a red bandana and a gold crown of thorns and the other with a blue bandana and a diamond crown of thorns. The chains were created by famous jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. They totaled $600,000 in price.
